Psalms 112:1-3 " Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever."
We are redeemed to possess riches. Poverty is not a proof of salvation, rather, it is a cure to it. The gospel of Jesus to the poor is riches, to the sick is healing, to the sinner is salvation, etc., it cannot be otherwise. Jesus was made poor that we might become rich (2 Cor 8:9). The God that we serve is a Rich God; He owns all of the silver and gold of this world (Haggai 2:8). No wonder Jesus boldly declared that He was going to prepare mansions for us and not quarters (John 14:1-2).
Riches are not meant for the people of the world; they're for the church, and I mean, you and I. That you don't have it now does not mean it is not your right. You are only denied access to it because you don't know what to do to get it. Riches in the kingdom answer to a covenant practice. It is the Lord that gives you power to get wealth, not your certificate, work, business or political affiliation, "that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers (Deut 8:18-19).
What is this covenant that guarantees access to heavenly riches? It is the covenant of "Seed time and Harvest" (Gen 8:20-22). A lifestyle of giving is what entitles one to riches in this kingdom. That you know it is not a guarantee that it is automatically yours. You must commit to playing your part of the deal. Your seed guarantees your harvest.
PRAYER: You shall increase on every side, in Jesus name.
