Habakkuk 2:3 (Amp) "For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay."
I want to say to you this morning that God's delay is not a denial. Over the thirteen years after Ishmael was born, no doubt, Abraham must have wondered if the promises of God would ever come to pass. Like Abraham, you may have been waiting for the manifestation of your miracles, Abraham's time came, your own time is come.
He said I should tell you to hold fast to the confession of your faith. What He promised will come to pass. Delay does not mean denial. Remember, God is not a man that He should lie (Num 23:19).
Satan always capitalizes on our delayed answers to fill us with doubt. He wants you to believe that salvation will never come to your family, that deliverance from debt will never manifest in your life or that your healing or that of your loved one will never manifest, beloved, that is not what the word of God says.
2Pet 3:9 in the Amplified Bible says: "The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance."
If you are going through the fire and you feel like you have been to hell and back, then you need to hold onto the first part of this verse. God does not delay. Your answers have finally arrived. If you're yet to see it, wait for it. Trust Him like never before. His delay is not a denial.
PRAYER: Your testimony is now, in Jesus name.
