TEXT: "And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:" (Gen 26:2)

Let's go deeper into the story of Isaac and see the secrets that he traded which caused his supernatural increase. The first thing I noted in the life of isaac is the fact that "he had his own plan." His plan was to go down to Egypt in search of greener pasture because of the famine that was biting the land so hard. But God interrupted Isaac’s plan and changed his direction. To Isaac, Egypt looked very attractive and a place to be, away from famine, but to God who sees what no one else sees, Gerar was the place where Isaac’s increase and prosperity had been divinely appointed.

One unique virtue about Isaac is that he did not argue with God when He changed his plans. He simply obeyed God’s instructions by remaining in the land, and this was the key that opened the doors of supernatural increase to him. 

Beloved, the first thing that provokes supernatural increase in one's life is complete obedience. Anytime you obey God, heaven responds! Your obedience must be prompt and total. The doors of supernatural multiplication have closed on many people today because of disobedience. Unlike Isaac, many people will never allow God to change their plans even when such plans are leading them nowhere.

Please know that there’s no future in your own plan no matter how promising it may be, your future is in the plan of God for you!

PRAYER: You will never miss God's direction for your life in Jesus name!
