TEXT: "And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations" (Gen 17:9).
Another fact about Isaac that I want us to examine today is the fact that he was a covenant son of Abraham. Isaac enjoyed supernatural harvest and increase because he was operating under the Abrahamic covenant. From scripture, we discover that those who maintained covenant relationship with God, eg. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, enjoyed uncommon favour and blessings of the Lord. Irrespective of the scourge of famine in their days, they were supernaturally preserved. And do you know what? You too can be enlisted as one today.
Anybody can increase by being diligent in what he/she does but there is an increase that is only accessible by those who operate divine covenant, this is the type of increase that Isaac enjoyed. There were farmers who also planted their crops in the days of Isaac, but no scriptural record of their harvest. Isaac accessed supernatural harvest because he was a covenant child, Philistines were not. If you are born again, you’re under an everlasting covenant that gives you access to the abundant riches of God (Read John 10:10). Don't let the devil deceive you that you cannot be abundantly rich and still be righteous.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has brought to us abundant life, and we are to enjoy supernatural increase in every aspect of life! Hear me; the safest place to be is in Christ. Give your life to Him today and you will have access to all spiritual blessings that will also reflect in your life here on earth!
PRAYER: As you surrender your life to Jesus today, abundant life shall be your identity, in Jesus name!
