John 6:11 "And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would."
We discover from scriptures that testimonies are not only determined by prayer and fasting, testimonies also emanate from genuine thanksgiving from our hearts. This means, if you want to experience testimony this month and always, don't stop at praying and fasting, take a step further to give God genuine thanksgiving.
If you don't know what else to do beloved, thanksgiving is what next to do. It is a mystery that confers mastery on all who engage in it. Well, many may not see reasons to be thankful. If you are ungrateful to God, your life will be empty of testimonies. So, we shall be thanking God the remaining 2 days of our prayer and fasting.
Jesus faced seemingly impossible situation in today's text (read the complete chapter), the Bible says in verse 6: "And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do." What Jesus knew to do was thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is not what we give to God because we feel like doing so, we give God thanks because we owe Him. Let's celebrate His faithfulness through thanksgiving these two days and you will sing a new song, in Jesus name.
PRAYER: Your life shall be full of reasons to give thanks, in Jesus name.
DAY 20 PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING:
1: Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of life, protection and provision from January till date.
2: Father, thank you because the bad that the devil meant for me has turned as testimonies in Jesus name.
3: Thank Him for any other blessing you enjoyed.
