UNDERSTANDING YOUR TRUE IDENTITY

1 John 4:17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of
Judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world."

I thank God that we are able to make it to the last day of the month despite the challenges around the world at the moment. This is an indication that you and I shall see the end of all issues of concern as a nation and as individuals, in Jesus name.

As we bring the topic of Great Grace to a close today, I want you to bear in mind that it is the understanding of your true identity that determines how you maximize the grace of God upon your life. God has not called us into bondage again to sin but into liberty. "He hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son" (Col. 1:13).

The day you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour was the day He duplicated Himself in you. Where He is, there are you now. "Far above principalities, and powers, and might…" (Eph. 1:20-21; 2:6). Hallelujah. This implies that whatever cannot conquer Christ cannot conquer you. It is only what is impossible for God that will be impossible for you.

If you can believe in your true identity, the word of God says nothing shall be impossible for you. "For with God nothing shall be impossible." "Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" (Lk 1:37; Mk 9:23).

All things are possible to God and also to you if only you believe in your new identity in Christ. As He is, so are you. So, take advantage of your new identity and take delivery of your possession in Christ today via His grace. God bless you.
