1Sam 17:50 "So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David."
David’s story of victory over Goliath as pointed out yesterday, reveals some secrets that can help us gain victory over obstacles any day any time. If you want to gain victory at last,
"Perceive your situations differently" as emphasised yesterday. What else?
2: ENGAGE THE BATTLE WITH YOUR TOOLS.
Bible recorded that David refused to use the armor of Saul to fight Goliath. Why? They were unfamiliar to him. Instead, he used the tools he was familiar with to fight the giant. Well, in the eyes of those around him, his tools looked insufficient to challenge a champion giant.
What tools has God given you to use in your own battle? Yours could be Seed sowing, fasting, engaging the blood, the anointing oil, etc. Your tools may not look like tools built for champions, but if God gave them to you, He expects you to use them. God can take what looks insignificant and use it to give you a significant victory. He can take what others say won’t work and use it to do a great work. What tools has God given you? Use them to achieve your victory.
Don't be carried away by what someone else used to gain victory over the challenges of his/her life. Focus on your own given tools. That it worked for Mr A is not a guarantee that it will work for you. The armor of Saul worked for him to a level, but David was smart enough to reject them by focusing on what God gave him. You know the end of the story - He was victorious. It is your turn. Don't commonise that instruction. Don't take that tool for granted. In it is your victory.
PRAYER: Victory is yours forever in Jesus name.
