It takes responsibilities to initiate a meaningful change in life. "I define responsibility as responding to a situation."
The woman with the issue of blood responded to her situation rather than reacting to it. A lot of people today react to situations rather than responding to them.

Beloved, you're reacting and not responding when your actions, speech and thoughts go contrary to the word of God concerning any issue of concern in your life. What can you do to cause establish your victory in addition to what we pointed out yesterday?

Looking at today's text, there are three significant steps I want to point out that will help us to take delivery of our victory before the year is over. Let's start with the first. Are you ready?

The first word mentioned is "...when she heard of Jesus..." The importance of this statement is that what you hear has a lot to do with whether you will be victorious or not. It is important for you to stay in a place where you can always hear the word of God. It is in such places that your faith comes alive. The Bible says: "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Rom 10:17). This woman  heard of Jesus and acted on it.

What you give yourself to hearing determines what occupies your heart; faith or fear. When you give yourself to hearing what Doctor's or people's opinions of you are, or the current happenings in the country, it will fill your thought life and this will eventually corrupt your faith and keep you stagnated. Give yourself only to hearing the word of God and your faith will come alive for the needed victory.
