James 4:3 "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."


For your change of levels to manifest, you need to set your motives right. Motive is a major factor that determines the outcome of your desire with God. You may have faith for your desired change of levels but your faith is impotent if it lacks the right motive.

Set your motive right before going to God with your desire. There's need for you to have a sincere answer to why you ask God for change of levels. Hey! One of the reasons that move God to grant our desires speedily is if our desires advance His kingdom. Many have different motives for their prayers. If the answer to your prayer will not affect God's kingdom, it MAY be delayed or even aborted. In order to receive speedy answer, set your motive right. Remember, God sees your heart.

Effective ways to contribute to the advancement of the kingdom are:

* Help the needy around you, especially those in the household of faith.
* Give to support the work of God in your Church where you draw spiritual strength.
* Minister to those who feed you with spiritual food (Pastors).
* Take good care of your aged parents, and if you don't have any left, help the elderly ones around you.
* Any need God made you to notice in someone is for you to do something within your power to meet it.

Remember, until God trusts you with what He wants to give to you, He will not release it.
