TEXT: "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" (Gen 8:22).

Still on the subject of giving that I briefly mentioned yesterday, I want to throw more light on it. As pointed I out yesterday, before you can lay hold to the power to receive, you have to first possess the power to lay down. Jesus said that He had power to lay down His life and power to take it up (John 10:18). Giving and receiving is a covenant. Giving always comes before receiving. This is where many Christians are missing it. There is a law that states that:

TEXT: "But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that  giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his  covenant which he sware unto thy  fathers, as it is this day" (Deut 8:18).

Another power to engage to humiliate the demon of poverty and wretchedness in one's life is what I call: "The Giving Power." This is the power behind kingdom wealth. Today's anchor scripture calls it Power to get wealth. The power to get wealth is a product of the giving power. This power enables a man to lay down without being forced or coarse to do so.
