TEXT: "I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord" (Psalms 116:17)

A wise man said: "If it gets to your turn, everything will turn around for you." I want to announce to you that it is your turn for a turnaround. But for it to happen:

(1) Develop the attitude of gratitude. If your story will change for the better, if you will celebrate this season and always, you must willingly thank and praise God in everything in your life. This might sound illogical but that is one of the scriptural requirements for one to experience total turnaround. Thank Him even in the most difficult situation. Our anchor yesterday says: "In every thing, give thanks..." In whatever situation you are in now, give Him thanks. It is a sacrifice of your lips that can turn your trial into triumph (Heb 13:15).

(2) Don't give room for complain. Don't complain about anything this period whether to God or to man. During difficult times, be very careful of what you say. Watch your tongue in difficult times so you won't see what you don't want. Instead of complaining, think of ways you can verbally offer to God your thanksgiving. When Jesus faced the challenge of feeding five thousand men, He did not complain, He gave thanks (John 6). When you complain it will complicate the situation.

(3) Avoid comparison. Don't wish that your life was different. God knows what is best for you. Having a thankful heart is God's will for us. The Bible says that they that compare themselves with themselves are not wise (2Cor 10:12). When you thank God for what you have rather than comparing yourself with others, it opens to you the door for God's blessings.

PRAYER: You will end this year with a shout of praise and a shout of hallelujah, in Jesus name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I hear the sound of abundance of rain in and around you, in Jesus name.
