PRESS FOR THE PRIZE

TEXT: "When she had heard of Jesus, CAME IN THE PRESS BEHIND, and touched his garment" (Mark 5:27) (emphasis mine) 

We give glory to God Almighty for sustaining us to see another beautiful day, a day of strange testimonies among us in the MTD Family. Psalmist said: "I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me" (Ps 3:5).

As we continue from where we stopped yesterday, I will like us to see another very important point concerning this woman with the issue of blood. The Bible says that "She came in the press behind." She acted/pressed towards what she believed Jesus could do concerning her situation. Her action brought her instant healing. What doctors and physicians had no answer to, Jesus Christ, the Son of God handled it instantly. Her action, obedience and resilience to what she believed paved way for her miracle. A lot of people today are good at hearing but poor in acting. James says "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves" (James 1:22).

Beloved child of God, It is one thing to hear about what God can do and another thing is to act on it. Taking steps towards what you hear is what guarantees the release of your desires and expectations. "His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it" (John 2:5). It is your obedience to divine instructions that guarantees your instant miracle. This woman heard and took steps towards what she heard, what followed was her strange and instant turnaround. This shall be your testimony this season, in Jesus Name.

Another point of notice is that, the Bible says, she came in the press behind. She pressed for the prize. She pressed against all opposition and resistance on the way of her miracle. You can't get your prize (desire) if you are not ready to press. You can't lay hold to your testimonies if you are not ready to stand against opposition and resistance. Apostle Paul says "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Phil 3:14). As you make up your mind to act on what you received in your spirit this week/month, opposition will arise. This is where many people missed their appointed time. You will not miss your own in Jesus name. You must be ready to rise against any opposition if you must see your testimony become a reality this month. Press in order to obtain the prize!

PRAYER: Receive grace to be an excited doer of God's words in Jesus name!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR THIS SEASON: The Lord shall compensate you with favour this month, in Jesus name.
