TEXT: "At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release" (Deut 15:1-2).

I welcome you to the 2nd half of the year and to the month of July 2021. What God purposes to do in your life shall come to pass speedily, in Jesus name. We are eternally grateful to God for His help in our lives in diverse ways last month. Can you just tell Him that you are grateful?

What is God saying to all Morning Tea Devotional readers this month? Number Seven in the Bible is a significant number. It connotes Rest. The Bible says "On the seventh day God rested from His labour" (Gen 2:2). Also, number Seven is a number for Perfection or Completion. "In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month" (2Chro 31:7). These and more shall God do for us this month in, Jesus name. 

A slave is meant to serve his master for six years but he must be released on the seventh year. I don't know what enslaves you for years or months now. Yours may be sickness, failure, disappointment, heartbreak, hunger, poverty, delay or maybe your case is not mentioned here but you know you are under one form of bondage or the other. I have good news for you; you shall be released this month, in Jesus name.

In view of the above, July 2021, in the MTD Family, is our month of "THE LORD'S RELEASE" (Deut 15:1-2).

As we journey through the pages of the Bible, you shall be released from all forms of bondage by the word, in Jesus name.
