Acts 3:22 "...A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you."
Miracles are always made available to anyone on the platform of obedience. A man that will
live in the miraculous must be a man who is addicted to obeying God's instructions at all costs. The Bible says Jesus became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Phil 2:8).
"And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt HEARKEN DILIGENTLY unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to OBSERVE and to DO all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth" (Deut 28:1). To diligently hearken means to carefully and heartily listen to an advice with the aim of carrying it out.
How you hear an instruction is much more important than the instruction itself. Also, the person you hear the instruction from to a large extend determine how effective your obedient would be. You must be able to discern the voice of God from the voice of strangers to live in the miraculous (John 10:4-5). Instructions are highways to distinctions. This was validated in the scriptures when Mary, the mother of Jesus, told the servant that "Whatsoever He tells you to do, do it (John 2:5). They did and the comment of the Governor was "wow."
God's instructions are always foolishness to a canal mind. "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Cor 2:14). Be sensitive to hear from Him today and be ready to obey. Remember, obedience is better than sacrifice!
PRAYER: Grace to do as commanded and not as convenient is resting on you today in Jesus name.
