Acts 3:4 "And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, look on us."
King David speaking in Psalms 121:1-2 said: "I will look unto the hills, from where comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." Acknowledging the source of true miracles is one of
the requirements for obtaining one. As real as God is so are miracles; you must believe this!
The Source of true miracles is God and not mortal man. God only chooses whoever He wants to use. What you get outside God doesn't last. Lots of people today are looking for miracles or solutions from the wrong sources. They are either looking into uncles, aunts, boss, friends, brothers, sisters, etc.
Looking unto man for help most of the time ends in disappointment, pity and sympathy. Peter said to this man "look on us." What Peter said to this man in essence is "focus on the right source, look unto God."
This is very vital because who you look unto determines the outcome of your life. Focus on God and not man. When looking unto man, don't claim to be looking unto God. When you have alternative solutions to your situation, it will alter God's intervention. "They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed" (Ps 34:5).
When you look unto God for help, it lightens up your life. The weight of your challenge is removed from you to God when you look unto Him. No man can carry his load and carry yours at the same time if God doesn't move him to do so. God is the Solution to your challenges. So, I say unto you this morning "LOOK UNTO GOD."
PRAYER: You will not see shame again in Jesus name.
