John 5:1-9.
Why
our miracles are seemed delayed today? God who specializes in miracle is a God
of the now. Miracles are real today as in olden days. Where this man in our
text spent good 38 years, there were people who must have come in a day, got
what they wanted and left. It was not God’s making for him to spend such years;
it was definitely his own making. We can ascertain this truth from the statement
he made when Jesus met him. Delay is dangerous and it’s Satan’s trick to give
us false hopes in God. God can do now what He can do in 5 years from now. The
appointed time for your miracle is now. Jesus is not coming to die again; the
full price for your miracles has been paid. If the price of a good is paid in
full on your behalf, then, the delivery of the good is depended on you and not the
person that paid. Our miracles have been fully paid for. You must be ready to
take the delivery of your own now. If it delays God is not responsible for it
but you.
