TEXT: "And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet" (2Sam 9:3)

What happen to Mephibosheth in today's anchor scripture can also be found in many lives today. Saul and Jonathan died in one day leaving their son who could not walk to the extend that he was no longer in his father’s house. It is a sad story to hear that a son of a former king is experiencing such a bitter situation.

Mephibosheth lost his honour as a son of former king. Saul was like a formal president of today who had ruled for many years and under normal circumstances, his family suppose to enjoy the benefits of a formal president. Yes, God rejected Saul as a king but He did to deny his family from what rightful belong to them. Saul payed for his disobedient through death. The devil was taking advantage of that circumstances to torment Saul’s family.

Many of us have lost our position and we need  Divine Restoration, because God has promised restoration. I don’t know what you have lost, but the Lord will restore you back to your rightful position in Jesus name.

When God decides to restore you, He will trouble those that are concerned. That was what happen to Mephibosheth. David was troubled and He said is there any left in the house of Saul that I may show him kindness for Johnathan sake? It was not from Him, it was God's divine arrangement. I pray that the Lord trouble those that are supposed to show you kindness in Jesus name.

PRAYER: The Lord is restoring you back to your rightful position in Jesus name!
