Vision is a key to a successful life. Life without vision will end in frustration. I want to make something clear to you this morning - a lot of people have mistaken ambition to be vision. We shall look at what vision is not so as to know whether what you want to pursue this year is vision or ambition. This is so important because God will only supply provision for the vision that comes from Him.

Beloved, there is a clear difference between vision and ambition. A lot of people are ambitious. What is vision? Vision is a revelation of a divine plan as related to you while ambition is a strong desire to want to achieve something in life. Ambition can be totally different from the original purpose of God. Vision is from God while ambition is a self-made plan.

Ambition is liable to failure and if care is not taken, it can destroy the ambitious. Absalom, the son of David was ambitious of becoming a king contrary to the plan of God for him. Instead of him to look unto God for His plan, he devised his own plan against his father and he eventually ended up his life prematurely. Ambition moves one to want to achieve things by all means and not by God's means.

God is capable of handling His vision for you. Whatever you want to achieve in an unholy manner and at all cost is a proof that you are not driven by vision but ambition. Be sure that what you are aiming at this year is the vision of God for you and not your selfish ambition.

PRAYER: I pray for you today, your life shall not be destroyed, in Jesus name.
