DAY 3 (MTD ANNUAL 14 DAYS FAST)
James 1:25 "But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."
The greatest gift given to mankind is the gift of vision. Many people today rely on sight and not vision. Sight is a function of the eyes while vision is a function of the heart. This year you must have the eyes that see than the eyes that look.
I want you to picture your life from the word of God. Seeing yourself through the mirror of God's word is what energizes your vision. Vision is not the dream you had while sleeping, vision is seeing you the way God sees you from the word. Be careful of what you see this year because what you see is your entitlement whether good or bad.
However, prayer and fasting is a platform for securing favour from God. When Queen Esther was contacted by Mordecai her uncle about a challenge that the Jews were facing, Esther told Mordecai to engage in a fast with her and her maidens for three days. After the fast, she received divine favour. She said: "Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise...And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight..." (Esther 4:16; 5:2).
DAY 3 PRAYER GUIDELINES:
1. Father, I pull down every altar of wickedness erected against my destiny, in Jesus name.
2. Oh Lord open doors of opportunity to me in this prayer and fasting program, in Jesus name.
3. Ask God for other things.
PRAYER: I see waves of strange favour in our midst this year, in Jesus name.
