Gen 27:1-3 "And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him...And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people."


Let me start by saying that it is the blessing of God that turns a man who travails to a man who prevails. It has the capacity to turn one who groans to one who grows. It doesn't matter the trials in the life of one that carries divine blessings, he/she will triumph.

Beloved, know that the blessings in your life is what will empower you to prevail in the face of any situations. Jacob is a perfect example. The blessings of his father upon him sustained him in his journey in life. The blessing of God upon a life empowers him to prevail where others travail.

I won’t let you go until you bless me, was what Jacob said; and then, God showed up and blessed him. The angel asked him "what is your name?" He said, Jacob. Then he said, your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel.

"And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but  Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed (Gen 32:28).

From this story, we discovered that divine blessings change people’s status. The blessing of God upon Jacob changed him from Jacob to Israel; from a person to a nation! His travail ended by an encounter with blessings.

You are reading this today, write this down, before the end of this month, you will encounter some strange blessings that will change your life permanently. It doesn't matter the struggle in your life right now, as long as the blessing of God is upon you, you shall overcome!

PRAYER: The struggle is over, in Jesus name.
