MIND YOUR RELATIONSHIP

MORNING TEA:
Heb 10:25 "Ad let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of His coming back again is drawing near" (NLT).

Another key I want us to take a critical look at this morning is in the area of our relationship. Your relationship determines the fulfillment of your purpose/vision this year. God's word says you should not neglect the assembly of His children. This shows that the way you take
relating with God's people has a long way in determining the realization of your purpose.
The Bible says "Be not deceived: evil communication corrupt good manners" (1 Cor. 15:33). The NLT makes it clearer by saying "...bad company corrupt good character". Mind the company you keep if you want to realize your goals this year. Light and darkness cannot walk together.
The people you relate with will either make you or maim you. It is not a bad thing for you to separate yourself from certain people or group, especially those that don't see what you see. It's an act of wisdom. And adage in Yoruba says "If a leaf stays too long with soap, it will turn to soap". There are people that will definitely not help you to go far in life. From such I say come out from among them and be ye separate (2 Cor. 6:17a).
He/she has been my childhood friend is not an excuse if you know that both of you are seeing differently. Don't forget this: Your relationship is the determining factor if you must realize your dream!
