COMPILATION OF MORNING TEA FOR AUGUST.

AUGUST MORNING TEA.

1.      Congratulation for making it to August 2013. Another journey together through the scriptures has just begun. It is my prayer that every word that I shall share with you through this medium this month will leave a mark in your life and destiny forever in Jesus Name. While meditatively praying concerning this month, the Lord told me that August shall be my month of "NOTABLE CHANGES". And whatever He says to one He is saying to all. What will happen to you this month will be so real that people will not be able to ignore or deny it. Notable changes in your finances, relationship, place of work, home, business, career e.etc. The Council said of Peter & John concerning the miracle that was wrought through them that a notable miracle which was done, is manifest to all people in Jerusalem which we cannot deny (Acts 4:16). Get ready for a shout because God is set to change all your situations for the better notably. All eyes shall see it, ears shall hear about it and mouths shall not stop to give thanks to God for your life because the change shall be so sudden and visible for all to see, saith the Spirit of God.

2.      MORNING TEA:
Acts 3:1-12.
The above scripture has the record of the event that happened which led to the statement made by the Council mentioned yesterday in our morning tea. A man lame from birth received his miracle which could not be denied in Jerusalem. Unexplainable and yet undeniable. That's the kind of experience reserved for you this month. One will notice that this notable change/miracle happened at a certain season, the ninth hour which is the hour of prayer.
My emphasis this morning is in the fact that this miracle happened at a certain season. All seasons may not be your own season, but there's one meant for you. Everything that happened in the life of a man happened according his times and seasons (Eccl 3:1-7). Every sign and wonder is a products of A CERTAIN SEASON. May your own certain season

manifest this month IJN. You must be sensitive to your own season if that change must come. A lot of us have missed certain opportunities that could have caused a dramatic/notable change in our lives due to our insensitivity and negligence. There's a reason for every season. If you must witness changes, you must watch out for your own season and opportunities. Pick a lesson from every situation you pass through. You must be too sensitive to neglect any opportunity or idea. Doors are opened for you IJN, discover it and enter into it (Rev 3:8). Have a wonderful day.

3.      MORNING TEA:
Exodus 3:1-5.
The only constant thing in life is Change. Everyone desires and prays for it. But I want to let you know this morning that change doesn't just come, change comes when you know how to provoke it. A deep call unto deep says the bible (Ps 42:7), so change only answers to your change. God doesn't change anything for any man from the beginning till now. Only those who know how to attract it get it. Moses turned to see before God turned to speak. Esther the Queen after praying and fasting, took steps by going to see the King even when it was against the law of the land for her to do so, and the decree made against them was changed (Esther 4) You are waiting for God to change things for you while He is waiting for you to initiate it. Praying for change without action backing your prayer ends you in frustration. Pray and act on what God tells you while praying. That brings the change you long for. Esther and the Jews would have been destroyed if though they desired a change of decree and no action on the part of the Queen. Change the way you think and the way you do things if that change must come. You must not continue in your old ways of doing things and expect a different result.
To some it could be a change of environment while to some other people a change of job/business. To some it could be a change of relationship or friendship. Whichever category you fall into, all that is needed is "A CHANGE FROM YOU". Remain blessed.

4.      MORNING TEA:
Job 14:14 "If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, TILL MY CHANGE COMES"
You cannot afford to wait, because time waits for no man. That was Job's choice, don't make it yours. You must not wait until your change comes, you must invoke it to be. Many are like Job, waiting endlessly. What you don't want don't watch. Why waiting and watching what you don't want when you should have done your own part of the deal and cause that change to come. What should have taken you few days is now taking you months or even years to manifest. Don't wait for change, cause it to be. Bishop David Oyedepo says something and I quote "Some people are waiting and wasting away". Don't fall into that category. Your waiting can make you waste if nothing is done quickly by you. Waiters are wasters of time.
Enough of your fasting starts acting. Change goes beyond fasting and praying. Fasting and praying enhance your action for maximum delivery. You don't talk about change but you work it out in your life. I will now arise and go to father and will say to him... (Lk 15:18). That was it, a statement made by the Prodigal son. The steps he took paved way for his change from not-enough to more-than-enough. That is your testimony in Jesus name. Come on, arise now and act. It is in your rising that God arises. "It's our month of Notable Changes"

5.      MORNING TEA:
Exodus 3:3 "And Moses said, I will turn aside, and see this great sight, WHY THE BUSH IS NOT BURNT"
The way you approach your situation determines the outcome of that situation. There are two (2) categories of people namely: Those who approach their situations the same way with the expectation of different result and those that do nothing about their situation and yet want a change. Are you in any category? Receive the grace to cause changes in your life in Jesus name.
Moses had to change his position to understand the situation. So also you must be ready to change your position if you must understand how to tackle it. If you have approached it before through prayer, given, service and nothing seem to happen, change levels in order to experience higher levels. Change approach in order to escape the reproach. Also Moses approached his own situation with the determination to know why. "And Moses said, I will now turn aside and see WHY...." Not just prayer but a prayer of inquiry is what you need at times. God why, what next step should I take. God delights in such prayer of inquiries. Approach with the determination to know. He will answer you. Only be sure you are sincere in your heart.
You are changing story In Jesus Mighty Name.

6.      MORNING TEA:
Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am GOD..."
You must know that you need to change your position so as to understand the situation. Until you understand the situation you cannot escape the humiliation. But you cannot understand the situation unless you are on the side of God. When you are on His side you will see the way He sees and you'll respond to the way He would. Many are reacting to their situation rather than responding to it. What shows you are on the side of God is your faith-ful response to your situation and not your fear-ful reaction to it. But I must let you know that you can't claim to be on the side of God and not have REST. AFTER YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU KNOW HOW TO DO AND NOTHING HAPPENS...REST ON HIM. You must understand that in the battle of life there is a time to REST and the time to WRESTLE. When you are wrestling when you should be resting, you will be defeated and vice versa. Like Jacob, most of us wrestle with what we cannot change. At such state, what I would tell you is REST, RELAX, BE STILL & YOU WILL HEAR FROM GOD THE WAY TO GO.

7.      MORNING TEA:
II Kings 5:1-5.
There are people God has positioned as instruments of causing permanent change in our lives. These people may not look like it. It takes your spiritual sensitivity to know them. Namaan never knew that a common house girl could have an idea that will cause a permanent and notable change in his life (II Kings 5:1-5). Thank God he gave heed to her advice. Even when he saw no reason to obey the instruction of the Prophet to wash in river Jordan, his servant stepped in again with another advise (vs. 13). What has been a positive advise/instruction given to you? Do you despise it because it came from someone you think is not in the best position to do that? After all he is not my Pastor, we are not in the same level, I know better etc. are your response?. Your despising it is a reflection of your pride. Instructions they say are the highway to distinction. It doesn't matter who gives it so long it's leading you in the right direction, especially spirit-filled person. Great change always comes unpopularly. It may not come from popular direction or from popular man/woman who, maybe, God has used before. I decree upon you today the grace to be too sensitive in the spirit to miss your life time opportunity. Expect your sudden change...it's around you already.

8.      MORNING TEA:
Gen. 17:5. "Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee"
Looking at the great men/women of faith who had sudden and notable changes in their lives, one will discover that they had the same experience. Their names were changed and their situations aligned to fit into their new names. E.g. Abram - Abraham, Sarai - Sarah, Jacob-Israel, Simon-Peter, Saul-Paul. All these people were changed from Zeros to Heroes. This made us to understand that the name you are called goes a long way in determining what happens to you. What you are called is what answers to you. Many are limited in life by the reason of the names they are called. No wonder, God had to specifically give names to certain people in the bible indicating how powerful name is. We know he gave the names of Jesus, Samson, John the Baptist before they were born. What name are you called? Have you taken time to check the origin and the meaning of the name you bear? If the name you bear has negative meaning(s), my advice to you now is change it and your situation will follow suit. 9.      MORNING TEA:
Rom.12:2b "but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God".
To enjoy God you must learn to follow His principles. He's not a Respecter of persons but a Respecter of principles. What you follow determines what follows you. There are scriptural principles you must follow if Principalities must bow to you. One of the principles we are looking at this morning is RENEWING OF YOUR MIND.
Until your MIND is RENEWED nothing is made new. To renew is to make new. Until you change the way you view your situation, Satan glues your life to it. Things can't change unless your mind is changed concerning things. Your mentality is what determines your reality. Your ability to paint a picture of your situation using the scriptures is what makes you a Commander in all affairs of life. Your mind plays a vital role in determining the state of your life. How do you renew your mind you may ask? It's by constant meditation on scriptural promises of God for you. Meditation is a mental picture you derived from the scriptures to the point of persuasion (Rom 4:21). You must come to a point of persuasion in your mind that God has stepped into your situation against what you feel, see, hear, or perceive about it. That is the beginning of a miracle. It is well with you.

10.  MORNING TEA:
Gen 1:3 "And God said, let there be light: and there was light"

God specializes in changing things though Himself changes not. Darkness everywhere, yet He was not confused, He was not intimidated, not afraid or panic as some of us would. He only caused the change desired by the application of His principle..."He said let there be light"

The same principle is at our disposal today. If only we will recognize and apply it, the same change we need will come.
The principle of spoken word cannot be overemphasized if our desired change must become a reality. It takes faith to cause any change but the only way your faith can be expressed is through your mouth. Start to say what is written and not what is happening. Jesus' answer to Satan when He was tempted was "it is written". If there must be change in your business, home, career, office, you must engage your mouth in speaking the written word of God as revealed to you daily. Your confession is an indication of your conviction. Until the devil shuts your mouth, he cannot shut your life. Remember, everything you call will come. What is your confession this morning? It shall be so unto you as you have spoken IJN. If you haven't, just whisper to yourself God's promise to you now.

11.  MORNING TEA:
James 4:3 "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts"

If your change must manifest, you must set your motive right. Motive plays a major role in determining the outcome of your desire. You may have faith for your desired change but your faith is impotent if it lacks the right motive. There is a question that you must have an answer to before going to God with your desire. And that question is "WHY DO YOU ASK GOD FOR THAT MIRACLE?"

There's only one reason why God will answer you speedily, and that is, if your desire will advance His kingdom. Many have different motives for their prayers. If the answer to your prayer will not affect God's kingdom, it may be delayed or even aborted. In order to receive speedy answer, set your motive right. Remember, God sees your heart.

How do I contribute to the advancement of the kingdom you may ask, it can be done through the following ways:
--Be a help to the needy around you. Especially those in the household of faith.
--Give for the support of your place of worship where you draw spiritual strength.
--Minister to those who feed you with spiritual food (Pastors)
--Take good care of your aged parents, and if you don't have any of them left, help the elderly ones around you.
--Any need God made you to notice in someone is for you to do something within your power to meet it.
Remember, until God can trust you with what He wants to give to you, He will not release it.

12.  MORNING TEA:
Rom 4:20 "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God"
Attitude, they say, determines someone's altitude. Until you carry yourself no one is ready to carry you. You must behave it in order to become it. You must not wait to become it before you start to behave it.
Attitude according to dictionary means among others "a position of the body or manner of carrying oneself".
You must behave it in order to become it. Is it job or promotion in your place of work, fruits of the womb or marriage or whatever? Start to act it in order to see it. Pastor, is that not a lifestyle of lies? someone may say. Not at all. Acting according to the word of God is not a lie, it rather commits God's integrity to perform. That was what Abraham did. He was celebrating, giving glory to God for the child yet not conceived by the wife. In the physical it didn't look like it. Until your attitude towards your desired change is positive, nothing changes. Start behaving in line with your belief, and you will become what you behave in no time from now. I celebrate you!!!

13.  MORNING TEA:
Gen. 28:10-18
One encounter with God can change your life forever. Jacob had his own in the scriptures above. You will have yours this month In Jesus Name. I desire this for you as you read this, you will have a life-changing encounter that will share you to your world this month in Jesus name. Write it down, I strongly believe this prophecy is for you.
All great men in the Bible and in our contemporary world had encounter with God at a time in their lives. Encounter with God guarantees a change of story. They were once in hard situations but were brought out. It is your encounter with God that makes your life counts on earth. To be relevant in this world you need encounter.
Take note of these: Abraham encountered God and he became great (12:1-4, 13:1-2). Isaac had encounter with God and he was blessed until he waxed great(Gen 26:12-13). Jacob met with God and his life changed (Gen. 32:22-29). These are our covenant fathers, they all met with God and their lives were transformed. It is your turn for a turn around. Watch it! Your set time for a life-changing encounter is here. Be expectant!!!!

14.  MORNING TEA:
Prov.23:7a "For as he THINKS in his heart, so is he..."
The subject of change cannot be fully discussed without talking about change in your thought. Our thoughts define our world. A man cannot be greater than his thought. As he thinks so he lives. Many have been so limited in life because of the way they think about their lives or situations. To think is not to sink. Also to think is not to stink. If you can think well you will live well. Every great invention in our world today are products of great thoughts.
In this kingdom, your sight determines your height. I.e. what see is what you are entitled to seize. But I must tell you that if you must see well you've got to think well. The quality of your thought determines the quality of your life. When you think right you live right. If all you do is to think how impossible it is for that problem to solve, then it remains that way. But as you engage your mind in deep thought, suddenly a way out is revealed to you. Mind you, what your mind cannot think your hand cannot handle.
My dear reader, there is a way out of your predicament only if you'll give room for the solution to be shown to you through deep thought or meditation.
Find a quiet place today for a deep thought. Solution will be revealed to you IJN. The bible said "come let us reason together saith the LORD.. "(Isaiah 1:18a)

15.  MORNING TEA:
2Sam 6:14a "And David danced before the LORD with all his might..."
DANCE YOUR WAY TO FORTUNE.
This was a word spoken to me audibly in my dream last night and I felt I should share it because I believe what He said to one He's saying to all. A man said this to me at about 2:00am; I woke up to pray and afterward slept back. The same man appeared the second time and said "Don't forget what I told you"
The Holy Ghost inspired these words into my heart after the encounter. He said the following to me:
1: Dancing is a way of Thanking.
2: Your thanks-giving can be expressed in your dance-giving.
3: You can't dance and remain down.
4: Dance springs up from a joyful heart. And you are aware that only with joy shall you draw water out of the well of salvation (Isaiah 12:3). And Holy Ghost said the water there could mean anything you desire.
5: A dancer is like a tanker who collects from God to distribute to others. A dancer cannot lack what to share (2Sam 6:17-19).
6: In justifying myself I told God am not a good dancer, His reply was "Am not looking for good dancers but full dancers and not occasional dancers because many only dance before me when things are good.
Beloved, let's meditate on these words and use the remaining days of this month to dance our ways into the change we desire. Congratulations.

16.  MORNING TEA:
Job 22:28 "Thou shalt also DECREE a thing, and it shall be established unto thee..."

God gave us mouth not only to eat but also to use it wisely in changing our lives positively. God laid it in my heart this morning to share with us that the change we long expect will answer to your decree. Your degree(s) cannot be a substitute for your decree in this kingdom. Having a good certificate is not enough to certify your change without following the laid down principles in God's word. To decree is to place an order authoritatively. Until you place an order for what you need boldly and fervently, everything will be disorderly. There's authority in your mouth to command that change you need if only you will use it.
The degree of the damage done by the devil in your life and in everything around you is as a result of your lack of decree that should have been made by you saith the LORD. To decree is to avoid decreasing in life. Beloved, the devil won't let go of your miracle/change, it's you that won't allow him. The bible says you should resist him and he will not only run but flee from you (Jam 4:7). To resist is to decree into be consciously what he (Satan) says won't happen in your life. A lot are decreasing daily even with their degrees because they fail to decree their change into existence. Don't fall into that category, that's why God allows this word to come to you this morning. The bible says YOU shall decree a thing, and it shall be settled for you. What is that long-awaited testimonies in your life? Start to place a demand for them boldly knowing who you are and what you carry. It shall turn to you as testimonies before the end of this month in Jesus Name. You are the next on line to share that testimony.

17.  MORNING TEA:
Eph. 3:3 "How that by REVELATION he made known unto me the mystery..."
It gives me great pleasure to let you know this morning that it takes your revelation to command your revolution. Your revolution which is your "Great change" is not possible where revelation is lacking. Revelation here talks of the revealed word of God to you on the steps you must take to cause that change. The degree of the revolution you enjoy is the function of the degree of the revelation you have.
Apostle Paul caused a revolution the Church will never recover from till Jesus comes because of the abundance of revelation he had (2 Cor. 12:1, 7). When your revelation stops your revolution stops. More revelation gives birth to more revolution.
Now, there are channels through which revelation flows naturally to you. One of these is "Addiction to the study of God's word". You must study to be approved in order to command proofs in your generation. You must deliberately choose to sit down and study the word of God with the determination to receive instructions from Him. This is what makes revelation flows to your direction. And until revelation flows to your direction, revolution will flee from your direction. My God will show you the way forward now in Jesus Name. Be blessed.

18.  MORNING TEA:
Job 29:4 "As I was in the days of my youth, when the SECRET OF GOD was upon my tabernacle"
Your revolution demands your revelation as we have discussed. We said there are channels through which revelation flows unhindered. One of which is your Addiction to the studying of God's word.
Secondly, you need CONSECRATION to encounter revelation. You must have understanding of what to do to cause your revolution via revelation, but this revelation is for the consecrated. I.e. those who are sold out to God. To be consecrated is to be sold out to God. The insight Job had as seen above is a function of his consecration (Job 1:1, . Consecration is your total dedication to God to do His will and not yours. You can't be dedicated and not enjoy revelation. In this kingdom, we have STORIES and we have MYSTERIES. Mysteries puts an end to man's miseries. Not everyone has access to the mysteries of this kingdom, many only know the stories. You may read God's word and not gain access into the mysteries. It takes your consecration to take delivery of those mysteries. You cannot escape frustration without consecration. Don't be a part-time worshipper of God. Present yourself to Him in full - spirit, soul and body. This makes God reveal things that ordinary mind can't fathom to you. As you do, I see you on top in Jesus Name.

19.  MORNING TEA:
1Sam 1:18b "...so the woman went her way, and HER COUNTENANCE WAS NO MORE SAD"
In this verse, my attention was drawn to this fact that Hannah would have experienced her change of story had she known what to do before this day. This verse proofs that everyone determines the time of his/her change. She changed her countenance and her womb responded. Before now, she was sad and her womb was packed up. You cannot be sad and expect a change. When you are sad you are sacked from His presence. God cannot withstand sadness.
Are u expecting a turnaround in your business, career, home, finances or whatever area, then, you must begin to look like it joyfully, expect it joyfully. Give joyfully. Serve God joyfully. Go about what you know how to do best joyfully. Never allow depression to set in at any time. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, rejoice was Paul's admonition (Phil. 4:4). If you are not joyful, you are simply telling God He's not able to change your story. Remember, Abraham never allowed depression for a minute. Rather, he was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Rom. 4:20). You can't be praising God when you are not joyful. Here this, "Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with JOYFULNESS, and with GLADNESS OF HEART, for the abundance of all things. Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies..." (Deut. 28:47-48). That will not be your story in Jesus name. Wake up each morning with a smile on your face and a song in your mouth. It is not over until God says so.

20.  MORNING TEA:
1 Sam 1:10 "And she was in BITTERNESS of soul, and PRAYED unto the LORD, and WEPT SORE"
We shall continue with the story of Hannah. She was bittered, prayed unto God and wept sore. Hmmm! Your action after you have prayed for a thing determines what comes thereafter. You cannot be BITTERED and expect things to get BETTER. She prayed but the Bible was careful to add "and she wept sore", this is for us to learn a lesson. The lesson here is, weeping is not the best approach to your challenges. You become a cheap ride for the devil when you weep. You empower him (Satan) by weeping. Let me tell you, you give the devil an opportunity to WHIP you when you WEEP.
Your weeping is a proof that the book (the Bible) has not been opened to you. Until the book was opened weeping continued. "And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon" (Rev. 5:4).
Stop that weeping and start searching the scriptures. Stop weeping and start opening the book (Bible). It has been opened; don't close it (Rev. 5:5). It is in the opening of this book that your eyes are opened. Stop weeping and start wielding the power at your disposal. Stop weeping and start leaping. IT IS IN YOUR LEAPING THAT YOU ARE LIFTED.
You are lifted!!

21.  MORNING TEA:
1Sam. 1:20 "Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, BECAUSE I HAVE ASKED HIM OF THE LORD"
Did you see what I just saw? Samuel arrived because she asked him of the LORD. This implies that she was not asking from God before now. I believe she must have depended on Elkanah, her husband for a child.
How true it is of us today! The answers to our prayers seem not coming because we have shifted our eyes away from the God who answers prayers and place it on mortal man for answers. People are not seeing changes because they've not asked of the Lord. Even if some do, they are expecting answers from man. What are your challenges? Talk to God about it. Also be ready to focus on Him alone for the answer. Stop consulting Doctor for your health challenge, start to consult God. I love them, but in some cases they are limited. They cure but God heals. Stop consulting mortal man for any help, start to consult God. The reason is, until God moves upon a man to help you, man will remain unmoved about your needs. Hannah learnt a great lesson by this encounter. Because she now knew how to ask God and depend on Him for answers, five other sons were added to her. God is set to help you, allow Him. God uses man to meet needs. There's no doubt about that. But, please, allow Him to do it in His own way. What are your expectations for the new month? Talk to Him about it now.
