WORD ROR THE DAY:YOUR GENERATION AWAITS YOU

God never goes to the lazy or the idle when he needs men for His service. When God wants a worker he calls a worker. When he has work to be done, he goes to those who are already at work. When God wants a great servant he calls a busy man. You can be a valuable tool in the Hand of the Almighty in your generation. Be faithful and committed to
that which you find your hand to do. It is a pointer that God can use you. The  scripture and history attest this truth. Take a look at some:
Ø  Moses was busy with his flock at Horeb when God called him.
Ø  Gideon was busy threshing wheat by the wine press when God called him.
Ø  Saul was busy searching for his father’s asses when he was anointed as a king to deliver the Israelites.
Ø  David was busy caring for his father’s sheep when he was anointed to take over from Saul.
Ø  Elisha was busy ploughing with 12 yoke of oxen when he was called by Elijah.
Ø  Nehemiah was busy bearing the king’s wine –cup when he received the burden to restore the walls of Jerusalem.
Ø  Amos was busy following flock when he was sent to the northern kingdom of Israel.
Ø  Peter and Andrew were busy casting net into the sea when Jesus called them.
Ø  James and John were busy mending their nets when they were called.
Ø  Saul(Paul) was busy persecuting the church when he was called.
Ø  William Carey was busy mending and making shoes when he received his call.
Ø  Smith Wigglesworth was busy with his plumbing work when he was called.
Ø  Bishop Samson Grace was busy in the classroom when he was called.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

  1. Sir, is it about just being busy? You mentioned the case of saul who was busy persecuting the church. Should people continue what they are doing even when it is wrong?
