WORD FOR TODAY:PRAYER THAT GOD ANSWERS

PSALMS 63:1-3; JEREMIAH 29:13.

God is a God of power. It takes a heart-communication with God for you to encounter this power.

Elijah was a man who encountered this power always when He prayed. (Jam 5:16-17). The Bible says he prayed “earnestly” and not “loudly”. The Amplified Version of the Bible renders verse 16b this way “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available-dynamic in its working”. Power is released when you talk to God from your heart.

Prayer that God answers is
prayer that commands His power and this prayer must come from your heart and not from your lips. So many people make so much noise while praying, but their heart is not in it. Look at the woman with the issue of blood, she said in her HEART “IF I MAY BUT TOUCH THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT, I SHALL BE MADE WHOLE” (Mark 5:28). And as she did, she encountered the power of God because Jesus said ‘Somebody had touched me, for POWER has gone out of me.

Bishop David Oyedepo says “God will only answer what comes from your within”.The day Hannah went to Shiloh, the high priest misunderstood her when she was praying. When confronted by the priest, she said “IAM A WOMAN OF A SORROWFUL HEART……BUT HAVE POURED MY HEART TO GOD”(1Sam 1:15). Heart to heaven communication makes tremendous power available. You can get connected now, and your heaven will open and release to you the rain you desire. You have shouted enough! What you need now is heart-to-heaven communication in faith. Get ready! It is time for a heart connection with heaven for a release of power.

The time has come for God to hear your voice. TELL GOD WHAT YOU WANT NOW.

PRAYER: Father I agree with the reader of today’s word that whatever you ask now with your mouth in agreement with your heart shall be done unto you in Jesus Name. AMEN.
