TEXT: "But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see" (Deut 3:28)

Every man that is called by God to fulfill an assignment had one time or the other received what I call seeds of encouragement from those whom he is assigned to. This you all did to me this year 2021. Joshua had an assignment to lead the Children of Israel to the Promised Land after the death of Moses. But before then, God charged Moses to encourage and strengthen Joshua. Morning Tea Devotional (MTD) is a mandate from God that started 8 years ago and I must confess that there are people that are like Hur and Joshua who are raising my hands so I can fulfill this mandate.

TEXT: "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name" (Ps 100:4)

As we gradually draw the curtains for MTD in the year 2021, I will like to remind you that one of the secrets to victory over issues of life is thanksgiving. The reason is because, thanksgiving is the gateway to God's Presence and God's Presence guarantees victory all the time (Ps 97:5, 100:4).
