THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM

Gal.3:13-14; Rom 4:16, 18-21.
Looking At the scripture, the word of God, one will discover that if we must get Abraham’s blessing and get the result he got, we must be ready to do what he did. He was a man who depended solely on the word God gave him. He refused to consider the situations around him; rather he considered the word of God more superior than
the situation around him. He hoped against hope! Abraham chose to believe God when things were obviously negative. Such a man would go places with God. The only evidence he had was the word of God. Let’s see
Rom 4:16-21(NIV): Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all; as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations") in the presence of Him whom he believed — God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, "So shall your descendants be." And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb.  He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
He had every reason to stagger through unbelief, but he did not. His body was dead and there was no life in Sarah’s womb either. But he applied the word of God rightly. As Abraham’s seed, you need to take your place as one who follows the steps of his father.
Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. Abraham was a believing father. You also must be a believing son/daughter.
