CAUSES OF DELAY

John 5:1-9.

            Why our miracles are seemed delayed today? God who specializes in miracle is a God of the now. Miracles are real today as in olden days. Where this man in our text spent good 38 years, there were people who must have come in a day, got what they wanted and left. It was not God’s making for him to spend such years; it was definitely his own making. We can ascertain this truth from the statement he made when Jesus met him. Delay is dangerous and it’s Satan’s trick to give us false hopes in God. God can do now what He can do in 5 years from now. The appointed time for your miracle is now. Jesus is not coming to die again; the full price for your miracles has been paid. If the price of a good is paid in full on your behalf, then, the delivery of the good is depended on you and not the person that paid. Our miracles have been fully paid for. You must be ready to take the delivery of your own now. If it delays God is not responsible for it but you.

WHOSE REPORT WILL YOU BELIEVE?

Gen. 3:9-11; Isaiah 53:1.

A lot of lives are run on the basis of the lies of the devil. Satan specializes in lies. The bible says he is a liar and the father of it (John 8:44). Whose report will you believe?  Will you believe the report of the Lord or the report of the devil? His report says you are healed (Isaiah 53:5) but the report of the devil through Doctors and your feeling says you are sick. The report of the Lord says you are rich and not poor. But the devil tells you that you are poor.  Your riches are not determined by your pocket or bank account but determined by God’s word (2 Cor. 8:9). So I put it to you today that you are rich and not poor, blessed and not cursed a winner and not a loser, a victor and not a victim in the name of Jesus.

Looking at the statement of God to Adam, one will understand

PROPHETIC HELPING-HAND

Hosea 12:13.

Every man that longs and craves for a profit needs a prophet. There is a supernatural force that is set in motion at every encounter you have with a prophet. You recall the encounter that Saul had with Prophet Samuel, it changed the order of things in his life (1Sam 10).

The prophetic force is stronger than any political office. You must understand that to receive a push to destiny, you need a prophetic helping hand. Every one has his/her own Prophet and until you locate him, things may not move as expected.

Kings are made and anointed by a Prophet. The stories of King Saul and King David with every other King in the Bible attest this truth. The prophetic ministry is one of the dearest and nearest ministry to the heart of God. The prophetic ministry reveals

ANGELIC VISITATION

Luke 1:26-35; Heb. 1:6-14.

As I sat down yesterday, after the service, a word kept dropped in my heart and that is what I want us to look at this morning. I heard the Holy Ghost says “ANGELIC VISITATION” It suddenly done on me that God’s time to visit you is now.

The above scriptures tell us of the story of an angel visiting a woman named Mary in the city of Galilee. God is still visiting His people by sending His angels today. You recall the story of Apostle Peter when he was arrested and kept in detention in Acts of the Apostles chapter 12 waiting to be executed. As the church prayed, God sent His angel to free Peter at midnight. What about Daniel in Lions’ den, he said to the King: My God has sent His angel, and has shut the Lions’ mouth, that they have not hurt me… (Daniel 6:22). Angels are sent by God to carry out specific assignment. They could be sent to carry blessings or judgments. But I heard God saying

MY PRAYER FOR YOU

Psalms 20:1-8.

            May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble in the name of Jesus; no trouble is permitted to swallow you up this year, the name of the God of Jacob shall defend you in the name of Jesus;

            May He send you help from the sanctuary (where you least expected) in the name of our Lord Jesus, for our help is in the name of the Lord. He will strengthen you out of Zion in the name of Jesus;

            May He remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. Your labour in life shall not be in vain, in the name of Jesus.

            May He grant you according to your heart’s desire in the name of Jesus; He will fulfill all your purpose in life in the name of Jesus.

            We will rejoice in your salvation (healing, breakthrough, success, deliverance) in the name of Jesus,
