We are redeemed to possess RICHES. Redemption is not synonymous to poverty as some think, rather, it is a cure to poverty. The gospel of Jesus to the poor is riches, to the sick is healing, to the sinner is salvation, etc., it cannot be otherwise. The Bible says He (Jesus) was made poor that we might become rich (2 Cor 8:9). You must understand that The God that you and I serve is a Rich God.
